Extra-virgin olive oil




Extra virgin olive oil is a very special product at Tenuta la Pineta.
There are about 1000 olive trees at the farm, divided into 3 varieties (Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo), meticulously cared for by our skilled staff.
Harvesting is made by hand, with the ancient method called “brucatura”, in order to avoid possible damage to olives and trees, and to deliver intact fruits to the mill.
Cold squeezing, usually made the same day of harvesting, allows the achievement of a superior-quality product.

Capacity: 0,25 0r 0,50-liter bottles and 3 or 5-liter cans.
Tasting Notes
Color: Emerald green
Scent: Medium-intensity fruity scent, herbal notes, apple, pine seeds and medlar.
Taste: Nicely bitterish, with long spicy taste
Scale of tastes: Fruity, 5; Bitter, 4,5; Spicy, 6.
Food combinations: Perfect on salads, grilled vegetables, cereals and vegetables soups, meat anf fish, bruschetta and first courses
